Food For Thought

This supplemental summer lunch program is now in its twelfth year. Food for Thought helps address the needs of families at risk of hunger within the five island towns when school is not in session. The program is committed to providing high quality, locally sourced food. Thanks to the generosity of our Islands farmers, family receive fresh local produce. Each child regularly receives new reading level appropriate books. In 2018 Food for Thought served 108 children in 44 families .
